Still going through pictures and came across this little gem! Harold Edwin Vorce wearing his boy scout (I think) uniform. This might be in Flint. If I am remembering correctly, the family lived there. (I will have to check the 1920 census.) I don't think anyone in my family was part of the scouts but my son was for a while and my mother's husband was even an eagle scout!
Two generation friends of the family. I think Max Robert Vorce was born in Flint in 1920, so Vorces were there then. I went to HS with his daughters Anne and Betsy Vorce. My mother went to Flint Junior College with Max beginning in 1938. I think they both were in Accounting and Business Classes, and were in a study group together. My Mother and Father were buried in the same cemetery (Mullett Burt) as Herbert G. Vorce.

The 1920 Flint City Directory shows Arthur Vorce at 310 E. Baker St. in Flint. The address looks like it may still stand from a satellite view, the other nearby houses have long ago been torn down. If Harold Edwin Vorce was born in 1903, it would have made him 17 years old in 1920. Does he look 17 in the picture? I'm not that good in judging ages, but that's what he appears to be. There was only one Vorce in that directory.
